Hi, I’m Betsy!
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and Senior Fitness Specialist through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). I specialize in in-home personal training for older adults, with a focus on building strength, improving balance, and increasing mobility for everyday life. I believe that movement and exercise are key to feeling good at any stage of life.

Through Flex & Fit Personal Training, I provide customized functional training programs designed to help you build muscle, improve stability, and move with greater ease. My approach to strength training supports real-life movements like climbing stairs, carrying groceries, getting up from a chair—and even dancing in your kitchen—so you can feel strong and steady in your daily life.
When I’m not training clients, you’ll find me running or hiking, traveling when possible, or hanging out with my book group. I also love walking my dog at my local park, Mt. Tabor. I live in SE Portland with my husband, our dog, and our 19-year-old son (Go Ducks).
